1) "Répondez s'il vous plaît", a French phrase that translates to "Respond please"

2) "Response Shall Verify Presence", an English substitute for the French meaning of "R.S.V.P"

I don't know what each letter stands for but i know that it means that if there was a party and on the invite it said rsvp then you should call and tell them you r coming long before the party happens

it's a french acronym. it means respondez s'il vous plait (don't hold my lack of french grammar skills against me)
