Easy. Thanks for asking.

The best script is "The Fountainhead"..by Ayn Rand. It's the only movie where people take ideas about individual freedom and the need for intellectua honesty seriously.
The only one.

The best made is "The Guns of Navarone", because most of the acting, photography, scenes, settings and dialogue are so good, and memorable.

The only other serious nominess are:
"Gone With the Wind" for its color producton and scope
"The Mississippi Ganbler" written by Seton I. Miller as an adventure.
"The Bridal Path", as best comedy
"The Three Hundred Spartans", 1962, for its dramatized history
and "American President" as best idea-level comedy (satire).
Mention needs to be made of "The Adventures of Robin Hood", "Bend of the River" (best western), and the best musical, which is probably "Seven Brides For Seven Brothers".

The popular movies such as "Casablanca", "Citizen Kane", "Ben Hur", "Titanic", etc. have flaws in them a mile wide.

American History X is the best movie I have ever seen. Because I have never seen a movie that makes you look at you own life and ask "has any chose you've made in your life actually made your life better."

I can't beielve no one has put Saving Private Ryan.... probably the best movie of all time, it was absolutly snubbed when it came to The Best Picture (f#$% Shakpeare in Love) and Tom Hanks was absolutly snubbed when it came to Best Actor (f#@% Roberto Benigi, he hasnt done crap since).... but the story is so simple, rescueing one man, but within the whole story there are many "mini-stories" I thought that all of the actors gave award winning perfomences, plus.... The veterens who invaed normandy on D-day say that the opening scene is exactly like what it was like when they were there.

My overall favorite flick is Forest Gump because of several things: I love the way they added the footage from real past history into it like when he was with Pres. Kennedy and his simplicity in saying things like "i gotta pee"...I love the storyline of a young man with such a big heart and not so bright person ending up on top, and I loved Liet. Dan, portrayed by Gary Sinise. It was da bomb!

The remains of the day!!
The scene between Emma Thompson and Anthony Hopkins when she insists to see what he is reading is the most intense and realistic portrayal of unrequited love that I have ever seen on film! EXTRAORDINARY!!! His facial expression says it all with no words at all!

X-Men the Last Stand. It has great action, great story, and a great cast like Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Ian Mckellen (Plays Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings movies), Patrick Stewart (He is in Star Trek), and Rebecca Romijn. It's not even the last one because at the end of the movie Magneto moved the chess piece without touching it after being cured wich ment that his powers were coming back ina fourth movie wich is what Ian Mckellen said at his website. He's the guy who plays Magneto.

Best FILM would be "Lawrence of Arabia"... the cinematography, the score, and the MESSAGE !!

Best Comedy would be "Dogma"... just well-written stuff that requires some intelligence without being pretentious... and still makes you laugh.
