How and when is the world going to end? I've heard about different dates while searching on the internet so do April 1st or Deceber 21,23 or 24 mean anything? I mean in 2012 or 2011. Please tell me !! Thanks

Random dates like December 21 have no basis in fact. There is no "end-of-world" scenario that could have its date predicted like that, aside from an astronomical event. And if there REALLY was a world-ending astronomical event predicted for December 21, 2012, it would be in scientific journals like Nature, not just exiled to a life of floating around on the Internet like most of these end-of-the-world theories.

However, the world will end sometime, wether from the Sun expanding to engulf the earth, a "Big Crunch", or from global warming, nuclear war, or something like that. But don't worry, it's almost guaranteed to happen billions of years from now, and is most certainly unpredictable.

No one knows. Probably by an asteroid. There's a huge one close by, but it has a slim to none chance of hitting us. Supposedly, were going through the end-of-days right now. I heard (but don't really believe) that the Iraq war is supposedly leading to a cataclysmic nuclear war between Britain, Iran, Russia and the U.S. The fallout will throw the entire planet into nuclear winter, which kills everyone and everything on the planet.

How would this information help you or anyone else?
What would you do?
Would you decide to cheat, lie or steal before the end?
Why make yourself pointlessly vulnerable to doomsayers? (Especially over numerology.)
You don't have to believe every or even any Chicken Littles that comes down the road.
The World has been pretty good about continuing to exist so far.
Perhaps you should prepare yourself emotionally for the idea that the world is not going to end so that you can make progress, be happy and enjoy making other people happy.

Earth will probably end when it comes out of its climate zone, ie, moves too far away from the sun. Humanity will probably end with the destruction of the universe in a few billion years.

The planet itself will take billions of years to end, when our star goes Red Giant. No tiny thing like nuclear war will destroy a 200,000,000-kiloton ball of iron like the Earth.

Religiously............God will come when evil is too much and destroy the world.
Personally I say when global warming and pollution is too much the life on earth is going to wear out.
As for when the world is going to end, god will come after a long, long time.
The other 1 not so long.......

More than likely we in our infinite ignorance will destroy it long before the sun ever has a chance to, when it goes into its red giant phase.
