No one wants to hear your conversation. Go in the other room or quiet down a bit. You're not any more special than the people around you.

I've noticed that too. ALso noticed people sometimes pretend to talk on their phones to feel important and make it look like they have friends.

Some people think that the person they are talking to can't hear. They think this because they are not standing right next to each other, they are usually quite far. So, by talking loud, the person thinks that they are sending the message to them clearly and efficiently. They don't know that they (usually) could hear perfectly fine at a normal tone voice. Also, the voice of the other person may be low, so they talk louder so the other person doesn't have to go through the same thing(straining to hear). It does not necessarily mean that they are self absorbed. Maybe they are, but you never know.

Haha that makes me laugh. It's like they think oh, im special i think everyone needs to know my buisness and what im talking about. Really right, no one cares if you, your daughter or sister is pregant. They shouldnt be telling you on the phone anyway. Or people that have the walky talky things on their phone, really if there are people around, you never know what the person on the other end will say, and your going to end up being very embarassed one time.

My mother does it because she think the other person can not hear her. I still have not been able to convince her that it is just like any other phone. She doesnt get it. It confuses her that you cant even see where you talk into, that it isn't right in front of your mouth when you talk. She is older, and a bit dim.

I know!!!!!! I hate that, my Dad and his girlfriend practically SCREAM when they're on their phone, it's SO annoying.
