Just bad manners

It's does not necessarily mean that that particular person has manners. It could mean that the person ate the food, has it in their mouth, realizes something and is so excited to say it that they talk with their mouth full. Also, if someone is talking while they are eating, some people feel that the other person is waiting for a reply even with their mouh full, so they talk. To them it seems rude not to give a quick reply. They could just have bad manners as well.

I know I hate that when people do that, usually if I know the person I will them do you mind if you don't talk with your mouth full because I can not understand a word your saying.

They're just not taught any better.

I took the little sweetie out to lunch today, and told her in every other breath to chew with her mouth closed. Hopefully, she'll figure it out on her own soon, but until she does, I'll be reminding her, lovingly, of course.

One word....ignorance.:) Well, okay, then you have the people who like the shock value of sitting in a restraunt doing that but people usually outgrow that by the age of 4 or 5.

Hummmm I was going to answer this with one word. I can't stop at one word:)

it [is] gross. they may not even notice it. sometimes people do it because they have the urge to blurt out something. when i need to talk in the middle of chewing, i cover my mouth.

Jennifer I sooooooo hear you. My Mother does that all the time and it drives me crazy. She got on us all the time as a child if we did that, but she is getting old and reverting back to childhood sadly..

either because they're immature 3rd graders or because they feel like they have something really important to say, and they don't want to seem rude to the person talking to them by having them wait.
