you click alt and while holding it down click any number on your number pad..........play around with it!!!♥☻☺.......sometimes it doesn't turn out right though and it doesn't show when you email it to peeps!

Put number lock on.
Hold down Alt key whilst typing a number on the number pad. Each number is a different symbol.
A heart is Alt 3.

<3 the bottom of the heart is next to the m you have to shift and the top of the heart is a 3 :P

The answer above is right, your computer calls them (no offense) dingbat codes. All you have to do is find where they are and how to get your keyboard to activate them. Getting them from Word means that they will be in rtf (rich text format) and most e-mails will display them the way you intended.

just go to MSword. then follow insert--> symbol. from the dialog box choose a symbol and double-click it. when the symbol gets copied to the document, select it and copy it. go to the relevant place you want to insert the symbol and by pessing ctrl+v you can paste it

just search it in yahoo or google, just type webding. acid font ( which I don't know the exact url ) would be a nice place to download some free fonts. then install the fonts and then use'em in some graphic software. remember they are font files and you have to install them on your pc (or mac).
