answer hidden by low ratings..show????

ok, say that you get several answers to a question you ask on Q&A. Some of the answers are ugly, and you click on those indicating they should not be shown because they are bad answers. That's considered a low rating. If you come along as a reader and still want to see the "bad" answers, then you click on "show" to read them.

anybody that gives a person a thumbs down will show up a low answer and thats why they hide it because of the low rating below 5 or more

If you give an answer a thumbs-down or if you set it to only show answers above a certain raiting (for example, -2 or higher), any answer you give a thumbs-down to or any answer that is below that -2 will be hidden... you can always unhide it, but if it has lots of thumbs-downs, it's probably a horrible answer... or a good answer that everyone's jealous of.

Huh...when you give an answer a low rating it hide..if you want to see it again you have to click show right on top of the answer.

if somebody gives a wrong or stupid answer then the answer will get a thumbs down after 3 it gets hidden

When a lot of people give an answer a thumbs down, or, if you do, then the answer is hidden.
If you click on the "show" it will display the answer. . .

I think if nobody cares about it, they kind of store it away and don't have it on the main page, takes up too much room.
