Why do they insist on harping on SUPPORT THE TROOPS and if you don't you're supporting the terrorists, but.............

when our military men and women come back they run into s*%^t like Walter Reed?

Jose Ramos, a student at George Mason University in Virginia, lost an arm during combat in 2004. He praised the medical care at Walter Reed — once he could get an appointment.

He described having to wait four hours after a scheduled appointment to get in, as well as rescheduling follow-up visits.

"I constantly had to re-explain my symptoms and medical history. It was like starting all over again every time I had an appointment," Ramos said.

Navigating the VA system was just as bad, Ramos said. "The VA system, much like the military medical outprocessing system, is a labyrinth of offices and paperwork that no one seems to want to help with."

Easier to sit at home and preach BEFORE they come back to be a 'burden' in their own country?

Kevin A - my tax dollars are what's giving you that FREE health care. Trust me, I'm not jealous in any way, I would never in my wildest dreams wish to be you or anything like you.

The answer is simple, but not what people want to hear. They choose to believe in the "not MY child" fairy tale when it comes to the government. If they knew what this government has done for decades they'd turn white and keel over in disbelief. Our government is NOT the benevolent entity it tries to make itself out to be.

Healthcare is not a priority for men and women returning from war for this reason: they were not expected to live and come home alive.

When a soldier is sent to a "war" such as this, there is a high mortality rate predicted. All things being equal (which they never are) it's far more financially sound to bring back a soldier in a cheap body bag than it is to give them continued treatment if they're still alive.

Which makes this extended "war" somewhat of a financial boon to the government. The longer the troops stay there, the more likely they are to be killed. The more troops we send, that's just X amount of money saved on veteran healthcare so long as they don't return alive. With the deficit growing by the second, it's basically a convenient dumping ground for such a burden. This happens in every administration and every war only because it is part of the system.

As cruel and cold as it sounds, it does make sense when you look at the government as a business.

What propaganda have you been reading? I've been in the military and I have full health care FREE. You're just jealous that you can't have the great care I get. That's the down of being a coward who won't fight for his country.

Yup, it's amazing what the Democrats are doing to America. Check the link for proof!

"Feinstein abandoned MILCON as her ethical problems were surfacing in the media, and as it was becoming clear that her subcommittee left grievously wounded veterans to rot while her family was profiting from the occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan. It turns out that Blum also holds large investments in companies that were selling medical equipment and supplies and real estate leases – often without the benefit of competitive bidding – to the Department of Veterans Affairs, even as the system of medical care for veterans collapsed on his wife's watch," he wrote

Cons don't care about the troops. They won't even spend one dollar from their pocket to help them.

Why do you think they are all against rasiing taxes?

they have a big mouth and say "i support the troops"

Not true. It appears that you have absolutely no knowledge of the measures that are being taken to correct the situation.
