On July 16, 2000 during a "Meet the Press" interview, Gore was asked the same question: if he would be in favor of postponing the execution of a pregnant woman. His hesitant response was "I'd have to think about it."
RUSSERT: Right now there's legislation which says that a woman on death row, if she's pregnant, she should not be executed. Do you support that?
GORE: I don't what you're talking about.
RUSSERT: It's a federal statue on the books that if a woman is pregnant and she's on death row, she should not be executed.
GORE: Well, I don't know what the circumstances would be in that situation. I would--you know, it's an interesting fact situation. I'd want to think (OFF-MIKE).

So instead of making stupid remarks like flying sperms or what have you, just answer the damn question or get lost.

Yes, abortion is murder. It is killing a human being.
No, I would not let a pregnant woman be executed as this will be murdering the baby inside her too.

In my opinion abortion is murder. And yes it is possible for a woman on death row to get pregnant if she is allowed visits with her family like they do in some places. In those instances the woman and her family are allowed to stay in a designated area of the prison and she can get pregnant that way or if she is raped by a guard or sleeps with one.
Anyway I don't think they would kill a death row inmate while she's pregnant but if that were to ever happen then that too would be a double execution as the child would also be executed.

How is a woman on Death Row going to get pregnant? Come on.....
Abortion is not murder or homicide....you can only murder someone who is actually a living, breathing, and thinking human being. Not a bean sized organism. But this is always subject to opinion. I really don't think you can prove this point on either side.

Not legally, no. At least in the US, a voluntary abortion that conforms to the procedural requirements imposed by the state is legal, and not considered homicide.
As far as the death-row situation, that would probably be sufficient grounds to stay the execution for a few weeks or months until the baby can be safely delivered. But it is an unrelated legal issue to criminal penalties for murder.

First question: No.
Abortion is there for people who know that they cannot afford to look after a child. I would rather a child born knowing that it would be loved than a child born into hatred.
Second question: No
No person on Death Row will be killed within 9 months of sentence. The child would be born and then adopted/given to the immediate family if there was a case.

no. it is a personal medical decision.
i disagree with execution on principle. and to imply that a woman should not be executed because she is pregnant only further enforces the idea that the woman is worthless in light of the fetus.

No. I would consider that cruel and unusual punishment to the woman on death row.

No, it is not. It a womens choice..although some people may see it like that in a court of law they would not be able to do anything about it .
