I live in New York and i absolutely hate the styles: shirts that make you look pregnant, pants that make you look fat, fluffy skirties and rounded collars. Especially ugly is the stuff from H&M. When i look at their stuff i cannot get rid of the feeling that everything is second hand
I don't like the colors too.
I hope that some nice styles will be trendy soon

I know exactly what you mean.. I was just saying the same thing to myself about "some nice styles being trendy soon", well, I live in LA, and here style is really important to everyone as well. Most people wear the 80's style here but I really don't like those skinny jeans! Other than those, its cute in my ops.

If you don't like the new styles then stick with what you like. You don't have to follow every trend. Just wear the ones that look flattering on you. Variety is the spice of life!

i actually love teh stlye that are coming back from the 70s and 80s, those shirs you say make you look preganat actually hide any flaws, love handels, a belly pouch i love them, i love the colors they are very vintage, and the skinny jeans are amazing, maybe you jsut haveno sense of style, if you dont like the colors there shop somwhere else adn stop complaining,

Eurgh i know what you mean about the floaty tops - hideous.
But I absolutley love all the rave, neon and metallic stuff and the skinny jeans =]
