This is the same as

(8x^2/4x)*((x-3)/(x-3))

(x-3)/(x-3) = 1

(8x^2/4x) can be reduced factoring by 4x

(2x)(4x)/(4x) = 2x

2x * 1 = 2x

8x^2(x-3)./4x(x-3)

x-3 cancel out 8 x^2 becomes 2x 4x becomes 1
