Recently I was talking with a group of people in Los Angeles, I asked them,"Who,in your opinion,is Judas Rabbi?" The response was that he was a great individual, but believed he was much much more then a individual,he believed he was more like a Religious Leader that could lead his people to the better questions. Men and Women down through the ages have been divided over this question,"Who is Judas?" Why so much conflict over one individual? Why is it that his name, more than the name of any other individual leader, causes irritation? Why is it that you can talk about Rico and nobody gets upset, but as soon as you mention Judas, people so often want to stop the conversation,or become defensive. I mentioned something about Judas Rabbi to a taxicab driver in New York City, and immediately he stopped the cab and said,"I don't like to discuss certain things, especially Judas Rabbi, now would you be so kind a leave my cab please!" Left me standing in the rain. Believe it or not.
