Taylor hicks is terrible....blows my mind how many people like him....
I say Chris all the way. He clearly has more talent, stronger voice, and he can play music too. I've not heard a single Taylor song because he's not mainstream enough, American idol is supposed to be about mainstream music.

Chris, I never did like Taylor Hicks! In my opinion, Taylor Hicks can't sing, and I don't understand how he could have won. There were so many, that were 100 times better than he could ever be.

It's about talent, presence, performance, and modesty. I definately think both men are talented but Taylor has more presence to him, he's more of a performer, and he's modest. I like that about him and I think it's those qualities that will make him succeed far beyond the years Daughtry will be around. Daughtry may be breaking out like gangbusters now, but where will he be in a matter of time? So in retrospect.....I think Taylor is the one who'll be around longer.
