Websites for guitar learners.....??

Question

I'm trying to teach myself the guitar (acoustic) and I am looking for cool websites which give you all the chords, easy tunes to play and stuff like that. Any ideas...?

I've been down the google route but I live in Saudi where connections are sloth paced. So i just seemed to spend hours waiting for what turned out to be the wrong page to download....

well the greedy capitalist record companies are now suing all of those websites, just like they did to napster. You are supposed to go out to the instrument store and buy the sheet music books so the musicians and publishers can make an extra dime. www.olga.net was a great one, that's how I learned how to play guitar. if you search with google or something, you may be able to find a few stray sites, but they are all pretty much shut down now

Type in "guitar" or "acoustic guitar" in the search window and get busy. There are thousands of websites for this. I strongly recommend that you get a real live qualified professional teacher too - it can save you from some bad habits, and accelerate your progress.
