I am in one right now for most of the year ( I go away to school) and it has lasted 8 months so far...Still goign strong.

My long distance relationship was only a 4 hour drive. It lasted almost 2 years (i think, it was a long long time ago) but it was a very difficult 2ish years because we were unable to communicate other than physically.

Yes, I have. It lasted for a year, then we broke up. I don't usually like a long distance relationship because they usually don't work out. Sorry. =)

It lasted for over 3 years but it could not withstand the meeting of my current boyfriend.

Yes I have....A few...
They lasted... Let's see.. One was a month.. Another was three months.... Another was seven months.... Another was nine months... And my longest was a year.
Sucked because I cheated on all of them as soon as one of us moved away.
Come to think of it....I'm still in a few long distance relationships right now.

Yes, currently, and we will plan to get married sometime in the next year. It all depends on how committed you BOTH are to it whether it will work or not.
