What would be a good place to eat close to the Stratosphere on the strip?

Top of the World restaurant at the Stratosphere is a nice place to eat and the view is awesome. For reservations, which are a good idea if you want a prime seating time(sunset) 1-702-380-7711

Roxy's Diner at the Stratosphere is kind of fun, it's a fifties style diner. They serve very good food, and are usually pretty busy.

You're not that far from downtown LV from the Stratosphere, and there are lots of great places to eat DT and many of them are real bargains compared to their strip cousins. Main Street Station has 3 great options, their Pullman Grille is the best "moderate" price steakhouse in Las Vegas and the restaurant itself is a very impressive setting. MSS lunch & dinner buffets are the best value buffets in LV(IMHO), and their Triple 7 restaurant and brew club is a very nice place.

Palace Station has a very good breakfast buffet, it was only $4.99 if you had a players club card, $5.99 if you didn't.

If you want some good eats go a little south on the strip.
Anyplace inside the Wynn is great!

of course if your looking for something closer and cheaper there is the 1/2 lbs hot dog for a buck at slots o fun.

The peppermill lounge is a nice place, if there check out the lounge in the rear . very romantic and has a fire pit with a pool of water where the fire comes out of. Order the scorpion and ask for two straws, sit next to the fire and enjoy!
