Funny how people are trying to defend his right 'not to wear his seat belt' while he is laying in a hospital bed right now in critical condition fighting for his life.

How long do you think it will take him to do Pro Seat belt commercials?

It is hypocritical for a governor not to obey a seatbelt law, but in his defense I must say it is a stupid law.

If I choose not to wear a seatbelt, I'm only putting myself at risk. The government has should not be involved in protecting people from their own stupidity.

Best example yet of a true Liberal. Liberals pass the laws....and above obeying them. Just wonder if they are going to give Liberal Corzine a ticket? If so, he will probly give himself a pardon.

edit. G Spot, Gov. Corzine is known for not wearing seat belts. He hated them! Typical Lib.

"PC", I know what your saying. I get your point. I believe liberals are the most hypocritical SOB's in America today.
But, I must say this. Corzine was seriously injured, many broken ribs, clinging to life, all that. I hope the man survives and recovers. I wish him the best, health wise.
Later, we can debate on issues that separate us. But for now, my prayers are with him. You see, even a liberal's life is precious. Let's hold off for a bit, and let the guy recover.

Libs think they are above the law. Remember when Ted Kennedy let that girl die when he was driving drunk and went off the bridge. He let her drowned, while he went home, tied a couple more on, and then slept it off and called the police in the morning. Wow, must be a great life, getting away with murder, like libs do.

This has little to do with being a liberal or conservative, although I have heard conservatives say that seat belt laws infringe on their right to do what they want, and that such laws are part of the nanny state mentality promoted by liberals. Red states tend to have a lower rate of seat belt usage than Blue.

So to answer your question, Corzine's "liberal" tendencies, have nothing to do with his seat belt usage.

I don't think wearing a seat belt is a political thing.

But I would find it ironic if the hit and run car was driven by an illegal alien.
