The AVG Antivirus program is free. You are trying to get the Security Suite which incorporates other programs like Antispyware and Firewalls. Those cost money.
I recommend the Active Virus Shield over AVG. AVS uses the Kaspersky AV program which is one of the very best. AVS is provided free by AOL with absolutely no strings attached. It is a good deal and is better than AVG.

If you want AVG go to this safe download site and get the free version.

I have been using AVG products for several years and recently upgraded to the FREE version of 7.5, there is a larger version that is to be purchased, it is not free. You must have gotten the full version which is a 30 day trial.

I've never tried to say anything like this... for the Free AVG products go to http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1. They currently list Anti-Virus (good in my experience), Anti-Spyware (Nothing beats Spybot and Ad-Aware though), and a new 'Anti-Root Kit' (sounds interesting)
The former two products are together called "Grisoft Anti-Malware Suite" and lack the Firewall and Anti-Spam for it to be the internet security suite
If you want a free firewall your best bet is zone alarm. Just make sure you dodge the "Pro Trials" and install the full free version http://www.zonealarm.com/store/content/catalog/products/sku_list_za.jsp
For anti-spam, I use gmail and don't need further filters. My dad however swears by Mailwasher (Take it for what it's worth, but it's the only program I've heard of and the first result of a google search). Again, watch for the pro version and make sure you avoid the 30 day trial. http://www.mailwasher.net/
Of course... all of these free products are for non-commercial use only.

I but I have been using the free components of AVG for a few months now. I doubt that a whole suite is gonna be free, and anybody with any common since can figure that out. Only certain parts are free. Stop being such a cheapo and a whiner.
