Maybe we could just shut down ALL media outlets except for BET. Maybe that would make Jackson and Sharpton happy.

BET is no longer black owned. The former owner Bob Johnson sold the network around the time he purchased the Charolette Bobcats of the NBA, so BET is now white owned. Under the new ownership, Sharpton, Jackson and others complained about the new owners decision to cancel the networks positive black shows, such as the Tavis Smiley Show, a talk show which promoted, education, unity, love, community awareness and cultural and spiritual growth, in place of the very gangster rap and sexually explicit videos that you guys are talking about. Sharpton and the others fought to prevent BET from airing these videos,so maybe you need to get your story straight. MSNBC and CBS canned Imus because sponsors were pulling their ads. Sponsors didn't want their product or services to be pulled under Imus dark racial cloud. Imus bought his downfall on himself and only has himself to blame. He pushed the envelope as far as he could and now it has caught up with him. However, you shouldn't be angry from what I here he has $80 million dollars and will still be living quite the good life. I guess you will have to get your daily dose of rudeness and racism elsewhere. Peace and God bless.

Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton do not speak for all Black people, but the media chooses to present them like they do. I would describe myself as a conservative (Black) Democrat. I do think Don Imus should have been fired, and I do not listen to rap music or approve of any vulgar lyrics. I know I must have watch Al Sharpton on 10 or more cable news shows last week, and I'm sure he was invited there every single time. Al Sharpton only got 6% of the black vote when he ran for president in 2004, so no I don't think we should shut down MSNBC or CBS.

You can try. How an employee acts and how the public responds is a matter of business. If you have major sponsers pulling advertising then you have to make some choices. You could try to stop buying products that advertise through those media outlets. I just don't think fringe racists have that much clout any more. Of course, your question makes no sense and is just trolling. At least it is nice to know that this type of public accountability is upsetting the types of people who have terrible values. It is nice to see them squirm. Keep it up.

BET is the worst offender in terms of presenting so-called entertainment with black women being degraded--all day long!
Leave MSNBC and CBS alone. Let's shut down BET, if anything.
Face it, it's the rap and hip-hop misogyny that gave Imus the 'nappy headed hos' phrase in the first place.

Sharpton and Jesse are bigger racists than Hitler. Protest them everywhere they go. Funny how they have to walk around with hundreds of body guards every place they go. Big mouths but can't back it up on their own. Sharpton's show should be taken off the air for his repeated attempts at saying whites should be killed. Pathetic.
