what make the music in this movie so interesting?

The music by Johnny Cash during the 50's and 60's werre ahead of it's time for country and not fast enough for pop/rock'n'roll.
The main songs used in the movie was a generic history of Johnny Cash,and June Carter and their singing career.
That's all I have to say about that.
