left and right? I do.....Some one will ask me 'Which way do I turn?' and I say 'Right' when I mean left... all the stinking time...and I ain't no spring chicken either, so you's think I 'd have out grown this problem.......But no........ that would be the mature thing to do!
What about you? Please tell me I'm not the only one with this disability.......

I do that too. I have learned to imagine myself putting my hand over my heart before I give a left or right direction.

Yes I do. I just got our family lost in the hospital a couple of days ago because of it. Fortunately an alert staff member grabbed us before we were too far gone.

2 of my best friends have this trouble. One has to make an "L" with her left index finger and thumb just to know she's headed left. Don't worry, I just think it's harder for some people.

lol yeah it takes me a while!
I especially hate it when trying to remember that the person sitting across me's left is my right and visa versa lol

Sometimes when somebody asks me, "Should we turn left here?" and that's the right answer, I say "Right!"
So they turn right. We are misunderstood

I taught it to my daughter this way. If you are right handed (which she is) that is the hand you WRITE with.
