I cant eat when people, especially women, are watching me. Its ok at lunch if everyone is, but even still its a bit weird. In a restaraunt on a date i do get really embarrassed.

Yeah having people watch me eat is a wierd feeling. I don't like it very much... it's just one of those things I can't get past.

I no longer basically can no longer stand it while people watch me consume, yet I hate much extra somebody patting me on the back on the same time as i'm eating. An ex-female buddy did that to me. i could no longer have faith it. Now i understand how dogs sense once you attempt to pat them on the top on the same time as they're eating.

It does bother me when other people watch me eat because then it makes me feel self conscious about myself and it makes me feel that the other person might want some of my food and I am being rude.

Unless they're really really staring, it doesn't bother me. Usually after eye contact they'll say something like "I'm sorry, but I was just wondering what you ordered, it looks good." No biggee there. But a stalker-like stare would upset me.

the only reason people stare a me when i eat is cause i usually give them something to stare at lol i eat like i dont belomng there lol

No, I don't even realize if people are watching me.
Even if they are then that is their problem not mine.
But I will chew with my mouth open for them.

I think it is rude when people stare at you when your eating. There's nothing wrong with glancing at someone and then look away.

yes it does.......but if they continue to stare at me then ill do the same to them... most of the time they stop stearing at me or just up and leave.

Cant figure what the your problem is.
It obviously all in the mind.
