I think its a safe bet that Marvel will bring back one of their star heroes. Not only because he's an American icon, but because Marvel Comics has rebuilt their legacy and mythology so many times over the past few years, that it just isn't worth getting emotionally involved in the characters anymore.

I think they will bring him back, if only to maintain their copyright. He make take a hiatus for a few years or so but he will probably be back in circulation before long. If Marvel doesn't use him in a comic, at least as a secondary character, for so many years then they lose the rights to his character and anyone can start printing Capetian America comics. So, yea, he'll be reappearing very soon.
