I'll go for Australia, so far the only team not to have lost a match. But if I knew the answer to your questions I would be down to the bet shop and laying money on the winning team.

Since cricket is a game of uncertainties, nothing can be predicted for sure about the outcome of a tournament in advance.
As it stands now Australia, New Zeland, Sri Lanka and South Africa are capable of winning the world cup. Whichever team plays better cricket consistently from now onwards will be the ultimate winners.

They are astonishingly Talented Team now,
Vaas & Murali are at their peak,
Jayasuriya ,probably the best batsman who can score any kind of a bad pitch.
Muralithran ,probably the best bowler who can ball any kind of a bad pitch.
Mahela & sangakkara fining their beauty touch..
Dilshan & Chamara gifted fielders in super 8..
Even,..The lower order is well balanced.
Lankan Lads,..in high morale after defeating NZ.
Cuz, if there is one team which can spoil their WC dream,
OZ now have to face Lions from sri Lanka....

Good Middle Order batting
Good fielding side.

Though Australia are unbeaten so far,their weaknesses(very much there)have not surfaced.
Their batting looks strong yet Gilchrist,Symonds,Hussey are yet to strike form.
Their bowling does not look all that good.their real strength will be known in the next two matches and they may have a surprise in store..
Still they are the best among the top teams.
