Do you have keys at a neighbors?
How do you get back in?
i shut the sliding doors and thhis happened to me.....I have spares...thank God

is one doesn't have a spare...the obvious answer is to break one of the windows..
no not the ones in the door..but one of the windows...
and if you can't repair it yourself..there always is a beefy boy next door that will invite you in..pour you a nice cup of coffee and will do it for you

I keep a spare hidden outside. So you got back in with your spares? The reason I dont give to neighbors is that one time i stepped out for ten seconds to put some shoes out and my one year old shut the door and it locked and I had to call the fire dept! So I learned that the key needed to be somewhere where I could access it quickly and what if the neighbors werent home. Good for you for mentioning it to the others here.

no spares, certainly no keys at neighbors. I never have all the doors locked when I'm outside, but if it did happen, I'd have to 'break in' through one of the windows.

I have spare keys also. I one time locked my keys and my spare in the car, luckily I knew I was an idiot so I gave a spare to my parents : )

I had to go through the dog door on my back porch...lol, then i find out my husband kept a spare key under the dog house.

I curse loud enough for the neighbours to hear, and I swear that I'm gonna beat my kids within an inch of their life (They aren't with me at the time) because they are the ones that shut the hook latch on the door that is impossible to undo from the outside. Then I kick the barbeque for not having something skinnier on it to try to get that hook undone, jump around because my toes hurt now. I pick up the baby who's crying in her carseat and proceed to walk around the block to get to the front of the house, trying not to spill the four coffees when I slip on a big chunk of ice.

look for a window that is open and climb in or if someone else is home in our building i ring their door bell to let me in the front door, we dont leave our inside door locked b/c only two other couples have keys for the front door and its not like they'd be interested in anything in our house
