Any time an american asks a question on the internet or refers to something they always assume the only peopel reading what they say are other Americans. If youre asking questions about law or taxes or anything that is specific from place to place it may be helpful if you realize THE INTERNET IS INTERNATIONAL!. I read questions like that and I right away know that person is from USA. Its very typical of their arrogance. But where is that arrogance coming from? How can Americans possibly have this unjustified arrogance with their terrible historical track record of starting wars, government scandal, superficial consumerism, etc?

One thing I forgot to add in my little rant - The questions and such Im referring to are those that ask location specific questions or statements without giving their location. They just ASSUME everyone on the internet is from the same place they are.

Im not being racist you idiots. Im simply saying that nine times out of ten when a person asks something location specific without giving his or her location, that person is an American. It never fails. If you click the flags at the bottom of the page those will give you questions to answer from your country but when you go international you will still see those questions so EVERYONE is seeing your not so well thought out Q's. Look how defensive you are and ready to start a fight without better understanding where I cam coming from. This is the American attitude I was referring to. ALSO, how can one be racist towards a country? Perhaps if you had a better education system you might have a little bit of sense up in those empty noggins.

Every time I click on Australia, I end up being directed to America. Every time I'm in LGBT I end up in religion and spirituality. My conclusion is that this site is operated by religious Americans.

OUR arrogance??? You are lumping 300,000,000 people into the same category! LOL!!! I don't assume that everybody is from where I'm from, unless you are talking about the planet Earth. I've had correspondence from the UK, Australia, India, and Pakistan - hardly all from the US! And as far our "terrible historical track record of starting wars" you need to be reminded that America ENDED two of the biggest wars of all times and wars have been started and fought by governments that having nothing to do with US involvement. And if you think government scandal is limited to the US alone, you need to read a lot more history books. You are making an extremely complex situation look simple and it isn't. BTW: my next door neighbors are from Ecuador, El Salvador, and Mexico and my sweetie is a permanent resident alien German citizen - so much for your theories about us all being the same!

Being from America, it still bothers the crud out of me also. PEOPLE TELL US WHERE YOU ARE FROM SO WE CAN ANSWER!
We get our great swagger and wonderful personalities because of the fact that WE ARE THE BEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD!!!!! Trust me the only reason our scandals and such look so bad is because the entire World wants to know what we are doing.

By the way I am in the central U.S.ofA. HARD*SOUTH baby!

Geez, buddy, stop with the generalizations.

Look at your own country's history in the aggression department. We're not blaming you for it, so stop blaming us.

I've read questions posted by people all over the world, they're not saying where they're from either. Maybe they're more concerned with their question, and not thinking about the finer points.

Get therapy.

Generalize much?
When i sign on to YA, I click on the little USA flag. If Yahoo puts me somewhere else, that's not my mistake. If you don't want to hear from the Americans, click on your own flag and take your hatred and bigotry elsewhere.
