what is the difference between raiway station,halt,junction,terminal?

A station is where you can catch a train that arrives from one direction and keeps going. A halt and terminal are kinda similar in that the train stops and doesn't go on there, but usually a terminal lets passengers or freight off and at a halt they are already off. A junction is a stop for a train where multiple lines come to a stop.
