Put the ram back in, makew sure that you didnt unseat the hard drive cable from the mobo or the drive, make sure the hard drive power connector is in and reboot. Dont play with stuff you dont understand anymore! I didnt understand half your question, you took the drive out? You probably wrecked it.

You first have to make sure the hard disk is working. After you connect the drive switch on your computer go-to the bios menu. That’s the menu comes just after you start windows. The menu should display all your derive cd / dvd / hdd / floppy. If your hard is drive listed here means you are ok. This must be the case or you would not be able to restore it.
If HDD is not shown here then switch off and press all the cables power and data for HDD and try again. If this still doesn’t work check your jumper settings. If this doesn’t work then you might have to get a new drive.
Once you know the drive is showing there this means you need to restore boot sector. Set your computer to boot from cd and put your windows CD in. When asked select repair. This will restore only system and not all files so you will be on your way.
If you get stuck any where drop me a line.

removing of ram has no association with ur hard disk and it cannot crash ur hard disk at all. If ur hard disk was making sound while acessing data then may be it has outlived or has crashed. check that the cable connected for ide interface is properly aligned; that is pin no 1 to red line side of wire and give a try. sometimes connecting wire the other way also is the reason for hdd non detection. if all the connections are ok and u r still unable to access hdd go and get new hdd.

Try HDD Regenerator - is a unique program for regeneration of physically damaged hard disk drives. It does not hide bad sectors, it really restores them!
http://www.dposoft.net/
Info: If you have to many bad sectors you will want to replace the hdd. This is a good alternative if you want to extract some files before replacing the drive.

Bhai iske liye to tu kuch nahin kar sakta.
You'll have to replace it. Contact a professional & rebust it just incase you have something very important stored on it.
Also, while buying a new one I'd suggest brands in the following order of priority:
1 - Western Digital
2 - Hitachi
3 - Seagate
Avoid Samsung
I hope I've helped you.

Somehow you have managed to actually damage either the motor, read head, or spindle of the drive. There is no option but to replace it.
