jack the car up support the car with blocks or tressles remove the roadwheel undo the nut on the track rod end loosen the locknut on the rack at the rear of the track rod end break the taper on the track rod end with a ball joint remover or by tapping the track rod end on the side forcefully until it bounces out of the taper,unscrew the track rod end unscrew the lock nut loosen the clips on the gaiter and remove.Refitting is the reversal of the forementioned after lubricating the rack,reset the tracking

Also mark/measure the position of the track rod end before removing to be sure you get it back in the same place. After you're done the first thing should be a visit to a specialist to get the tracking checked. Probably cost a tenner or so, much cheaper that stripping the tread off your tyres.
