Before they went away they should have entrusted a neighbour, friend, relative etc. to make sure that no parties would be held. So, parents have to take primary responsibility.

I didn't read the detail of this case. Was she just guilty of naivety?. Did bad elements gate crash. Why didn't she phone the Police, neighbours etc. What she did/didn't do about trying to stop the damage, would, to a degree, determine what you do about it. Also, her attitude after the event.

She should not continue to be friends with any of the people involved with causing the damage. Being quite honest though, there is precious little that you can do, apart from a damn good telling off, and ensure that she shows contrition for what she has allowed to happen. The parents should acknowledge their own culpability in this sad episode. Live and learn.

She'd be moving out. Not forever just until she realised what a bad mistake it was and paying for some repairs.

Someone hacked into her myspace, mmm. She must have put her home address on there or it was someone she knew. She knew about the party apparently just didn't know 200 people would turn up.

TEENAGERS TAKE NOTE:
IF YOU ADVERTISE A HOUSE PARTY NO MATTER HOW SMALL YOU WILL GET GATECRASHERS!

be careful of who you invite. those issues can without put off increase with human beings no longer giving a flying crap approximately preserving your carpet sparkling or your valuables risk-free. If there will be any sort of eating- Im assuming punch as a results of fact you're below the age of 21- save it on the returned porch. A carpet constantly exhibits signs and indications of events. Seal off rooms. save doorways closed and take out the lightbulbs in each and every of the internal maximum rooms and positioned a chair interior the doorway hidden at night. this manner actually everyone seems to be way less probably to bypass in there and in the event that they do they'll trip alerting the two you or a believe-worth chum of what they're as much as. Lock up valuables. cover away something which could ruin genuinely or can no longer get replaced. Dont enable everybody smoke indoors. It lingers interior the air and gets into the textile of couches. be sure you establish distinctive trash cans to motivate human beings to throw away their trash. go away in simple terms the main significant bathing room open. sparkling it on the tip of the night and throw away the showering room trash- constantly a trademark to persons on uninvited travelers. Sweep and mop the flooring in spite of if it doesnt look grimy to you except it became into grimy interior the 1st place. additionally in case you have a pool examine on the tip of the night if any debris have been given chucked in there. have been given busted for a party whilst i became into 17 for that. and that i think vulnerable to function that the toughest section isnt preserving the situation sparkling. the toughest section is the sneaking around, preserving quiet which you would be able to no longer violate any noise ordinances or having the buddies tell on you, placating the police who continually look whilst they see distinctive autos parked close to a house, and preserving alchohol/drugs out of it. so as which you would be able to intend to make different plans.

Bearing in mind the location, I'd wonder where the £20,000-worth of goods came from in order to get damaged - or perhaps I'm just looking at it from an insurance company's point of view ! ! !

1) i'd have a heart attack
2) after surviving i'd make them work all their lives to start paying me back.
3) keep demanding all throughout their lives that they give me back my money, down to the last penny. If THEY don't then their children will have to. Otherwise i'll be hiring a lawyer.
4) leave them almost nothing when i die! and leave it all to their siblings (i'd make sure they have more responsable siblings that are capable of caring for their family heirlooms).

id make them tidy up every bit of the mess and make them do any decorating that needed to be done, they'd be grounded for as long as it took to do all this and have no more money from me until i could save up the £20000. but even though i was punishing them id seceretly be very pleased and relieved that nothing had happened to them as for so many people to have turnd up like that, that they didnt know from adam who had just seen the party advertised on the internet then anyone could of turned up and anything could of happened to her.

I'd make him go work to pay me at least a quarter of that mone back.
Especially if the party was without my permission.
Next to that he'll be grounded for months to come.
If you can't stick by the rules, you'd better pay the price.
