I never found them funny as a kid. I always thought they were weird and annoying.

Yes. Clowns are amusing but they look weird and a bit scary.

Me too....never got into clowns.......when you try too hard to be "funny"....you're not funny....just annoying....that's why I can't stand to watch most sitcoms or comedy type movies and the like....I have no patience for such nonsense..have better things
to occupy my time and thoughts.....=)

I was never afraid of them, but I didn't really like them all that well, either. Oddly enough, I tend to gravitate toward the ones with sad faces... wonder what THAT says about my psychology?

Neither did I until I saw what those blokes do at rodeo bull-rides - totally different to creepy circus clowns!!

Tell me about it. I have red hair and the clowns always gravitated to me and my sister because we had the same coloured hair as they did! I used to hide when I saw them coming.
