Since cricket is a game of uncertainties, nothing can be predicted for sure about the outcome of a tournament in advance.
As it stands now South Africa, New Zeland, Sri Lanka and South Africa are the main contgenders for the world cup. Whichever team plays better cricket consistently from now onwards will be the ultimate winners.

Australia has 45 %,..cuz Carribean pitches suits to Lankans..
They are astonishingly Talented Team now,
Vaas & Murali are at their peak,
Jayasuriya ,probably the best batsman who can score any kind of a bad pitch.
Mahela & sangakkara fining their beauty touch..
Even,..The lower order is well balanced.

Australia they are simply the best in all department, bowling, fielding and batting.
I just can't see any team beating them.
