You answered your own question. Hey entertainers are fair game. They get paid enough to say what they say. Us commoners have to watch what we say. We live in a ball-less society where we sit around waiting to ruin someone's career over things we say everyday. Not myself but everyone else. Comedians can say what Imus said but he can't because he isn't officially a comedian. Blacks are allowed to say n__gger everyone else can't. It seems black skin would be a little thicker than it seems to be. I am a minority and hear remarks from my own people and others and I don't blink an eye. I think racial remarks are hilarious. If you can't take it then you aren't worthy of being the race being made fun of. Sharpton and Jackson don't scare me. They are some nappy headed hoes.

There is an element of self aggrandizement; that doesn't mean they weren't right about the issue.
Sharpton and Jackson were not the only voices raised. Al Roker, The National Association of Black Journalists, the Anti-Defamation League, and employees at both networks are a few of the many individuals and groups which attacked Imus's remarks.

Sharpton and Jackson are nappy headed hypocrites that make a career out of convincing black Americans that white Americans are out to get them at every turn, and the media keeps providing them a platform to spew their racial rhetoric and this will not stop until their sponsors are held accountable........No Sponsors= No Sharpton and Jackson

Just one more reason to strive to get into heaven. Those two a-sores won't be there. There's a special level of hell reserved for preachers who judge others for personal gain.

That's right, so don't make a racial remark or they will use you to further their careers.
