I have a ASUS A9250 128 AGPx8 Video Card (Powered by the ATI 9250 GPU) and i want to install Windows Vista Home Premium. Do I have to upgrade by Video Card to run Windows Aero Glass? my computer has these specs:
OS: Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2
Motherboard: Intel D865PERL
RAM: 512MB DDR400 (Will buy another 512 module
tomorrow.)
Video Card: ASUS A9250 128 AGPx8 Video Card (Powered
by the ATI 9250 GPU)
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.0GHz (Prescott)
DirectX: 9.0c
Can my pc run WIndows Vista Home Premium w/ Aero Glass or do i have to upgrade my video card?...
I was thinking ATI Radeon 9600....Does this have Pixel Shader 2.0?

Vista Aero requires a DirectX9 compatible card. Your 9250 is pretty outdated, it is not a DirectX9 card. DirectX9 compatible cards are the ATI 9550 and higher. The 9600 has Smartshader 2.0.

You might want to consider the 9600 Pro. I've got one that is a great overclocker.

Your card will support it but it will be better to upgrade it.
Its better to go for Radeon X series. They are cheap & even my Radeon X300 has shader mode 2.0 too. Try getting shader mode 3.0.

just don't dowload vista, I've herd so many bad things about it.
