I do not say that Senior Players suck. But they consider too much about themselves and do not like pointing out their mistakes. They think that their place in the team is guaranteed even if they do not perform. However, since Greg Chappel took over as the coach, he started questioning these players whenever they perform badly and they feel hurt and feel that some injustice has been done to them .

Indian Cricket may had needed a change, but not such a drastic one. Greg Chappel may have thought that the Australian way of cricket may show the same results, but India is not Australia. Many of Dravid & Chappel's decisions have gone the right way but what about the others, Irfan Pathan is an example. Lastly, Indian cricket's more discplined Yes. But there have been many prices to pay.

NO! He wanted Indian Team play in his way. He should get trust from players first. He did so much experiment that players started losing confidence in himself and played under pressure. The players should play natural.
Irfan Pathan was good bowler but instead of making him better he forced him to be ALLRounder. And what happend. One can not make all rounder,a player develops that by himself. So Irfan lost his bowling and latter batting.A coach should be mentor. He talked about young players.. what did he do when Raina started falling.Raina is good batsman but got many chances to prove at International level.Senior players were right at some time but wrong too.A team should have both Senior and young breed.I read somewhere.. he wanted to drop Sachin .

He is right on only one thing that the young players should be promoted but the senior players can be replaced only if there are suitable youngsters available. Greg's experiments with the batting lineup and inclusion of young players proved disastrous that we all know. I think all senior players should make a room for new talents but it should be done systematically and fairly.

No, Greg Chappel must go back his home. He could have done his work better. He is the worst coach I have ever seen.
