Sure there is. People seem to think you have to carry around baggage after every relationship, like there's a scarlet letter on your forehead and 140 pound weight on your shoulders. You don't, unless that's what you want to do.

You need to be responsible for your mess. If you have children, you have to be a good parent and you have to do the right things. That isn't complicated, that's part of the "consequence" of bringing children into the world.

However, you should be able to learn from the mistakes you made and try for new ones. People who just keep repeating the same mistakes in relationships, with minor variations, just aren't paying attention.

Yes, there IS life after a complicated marraige. Not only is there life, there is a BETTER life! Divorce was the best thing that ever happened to me. My life is so much better now.
