This group, with is foundations in Trotskism, believes they can create their own world reality and that the ends justify the means. They believe they are exercising a noble, benevolent hegemony to spread democracy, secure the commerical interests of US corporations, and allow the tiny country of Israel to expand its territories..

To answer your question, I'm not sure they care much about world opinon, but they care very much what their Republican base of US voters thinks.
