Did you change the brand of food? Is he still drinking water? If this continues another day, I would take him to the vet. Just to be safe, you know.

Is he still passing the same amount of pellets as usual?

Rabbits are very prone to digestive problems. Due to their fast metabolism, digestive problems can kill them quickly. Their caecum can become impacted (stuffed with poo) and this is very bad news.

I would take your rabbit to the vet BEFORE he stops eating altogether - it would be bad by this time, so better to catch it early. A vet can feel your rabbits abdomen and tell you if there's a problem there. He may give you some meds to stop this developing into a problem - this would not be expensive, but if the rabbit ends up with an impaction, this would be expensive.

As a guide, a rabbit's diet should consist of 75% hay, and rabbit pellets (not mix). Hard fruit and veg should only be given every other day - here's a list of suitable and unsuitable veg for rabbits:

Rabbit digestion problems are more often than not caused by incorrect diet.

I suggest you take your bunny to the vet. My bunny stop eating a while ago and starting cramping up one night. It was too late when I brought her to the Emergency Pet Clinic.

Take him to the vet as fast as you can. Rabbits might eat too much sometimes and have a mass of food stuck in their intestine or stomach, which makes them really sick. They can get fever and stay in one place all the time instead of moving around. If he's bunched up in one part of the cage, please take him to the vet, and don't wait. I hope this helped. =)

it could be that his teeth are to long because just as they some times need there claws cut if they are to long. if there teeth are to long they can't eat very well and they might need to be cut.

i think that you should take him/her to the vet and ask her what to do.

i hoped this helped and good luck. x

have you checked his teeth as they could be long so he is unable to eat. If you are worried you could ask your vet
