Most double letters are bigger than the single letter (e.g. FF is bigger than F). However, it's due to adding in extra sizes when there used to be as many made, and something is needed to indicate smaller than A. So AA is smaller in that case, AAA smaller still (think battery sizes, AAA is smaller than AA, I've never seen an A but I presume it's bigger).

32A is smaller than 32AA. The largest size bra I've ever heard of is a FF (yes, you read that right, two "f's"). I heard this on Oprah when they were talking about bra fitting.

However, a 34DDD is bigger than a 34DD or 34D.
sokokl... I was a 38J, and they have K and L and M sizes as well.
