I think its because there jealous that we have a wider perspective of the world that they wished they had instead of being self centered jerks!

It's down to childish jealousy, always has been and always will be. Those who work hard are seen to be 'uncool', until they meet up 15 years later and the hardworking kid is driving a Ferrari, while the 'cool kid' is driving a Trabant.

You just answered your question man and i dont think kids do that anymore im a straight A student and no one punks me they never have and i have been a straight A student all my life and i live up in the bad side of compton i dont think anyone cares anymore if you have good or bad grades their either shopping or messing around

It's a lot easier to insult you than to do the kind of work you do. Agreed?
Don't worry. In the long run, high school is a very small part of your life--even though I know it doesn't seem like it now.
