Are crazy and dumb the same things? Well, in response to your question, it depends... if you plan on getting a real job or going to another school, who do you think they will need references from??? DUMB MOVE- rather go to the school and politely pull your gracious presence. HOWEVER, if you plan on being a bum, getting expelled from the university will be the best thing you ever did and the most memorable high, so its a smart thing to do!

I doubt that. This sounds like someone who has found that going to a University is very difficult, and knowing how disappointed his or her parents would be, they don't want to tell them it's this hard, so getting expelled would seem easier. That's the coward's way out.
He or she needs to decide whether to work harder, or admit defeat to his or her parents, and decide what to do after that. In fact telling one's parents may be the best way to get the help one needs. Either way, courage is the best way to go. This may be a deciding moment. To act without courage will leave one weak forever, to act with courage, no matter the outcome, will strengthen one for life. Choose strength. It brings self-respect and self-esteem.

No, not crazy - but irresponsible! Being expelled will stay with one forever. If one wants out........one walks out, on their own terms.

Happy Education!

Yeah, that "honor" looks real good on a resume. Ask him if he can say, "Do you want fries with that expulsion?"
