Yes, condoms work in the shower but be sure you put the condom on before entering the shower! However, you need to be aware of a few things:
1. the shower will wash off the lubricant
2. some condoms are lubricated with a spermicide which will wash off
3. do not use any soap, shampoo or oils as they can cause the condom to break down
4. find and use a silicone-based lubricant since it will not wash off easily and will not hurt the latex of the condom
5. be careful when you withdraw that the condom comes with you

Please note, if your water is highly chlorinated, it is best to forget fun in the shower...chlorine can cause damage to a latex condom making it unreliable.
