The honest answer is Maybe.

It's not entirely likely because the trip from the outside up the canal past the cervix to the ovaries is a long trip, BUT it's not impossible. If there is any doubt, and this happened tonight, you might consider going to a clinic tomorrow and talking to them about the Morning After pill.

If it was days ago, the only you can do is wait and/or have her take a pregnancy test, but I believe you need to wait a bit for that too.

It's highly unlikely that she would end up pregnant in your situation but it is still possible. Semen can travel and stay alive for up to two hours in open air, leaving it plenty of time to make it's way from the top of the vagina into the falopian tubes. Providing that you had both a condom on and she took a shower immediately afterwards makes the likelihood of her being pregnant even less. There are a few things that you should consider: Is she mid way between her cycle? If so, that's the most possible time for women to become pregnant. When is her next expected period? You should try and wait it out until then. If she misses her period, then you need go ahead and take a home pregnancy test. If you're truly this concerned consider picking up a PLAN B pack from your local pharmacy. You have to ask the pharmasict for it but it's not that hard to obtain. It's about 40.00 and she'll need to take one pill as soon as you get it and the second pill twenty four hours after that. Good luck.

No. The sperm needs the ejaculation to get to the egg to penetrate it.
