ask a question but then get angry when you give them an answer from another perspective? Its like they already have their minds made up but if thats the case then, why ask the question? Am I the only one that sees this? Serious answers only.

i know exactly what you mean. As a matter of fact I was thinking of asking that same question. I answered one recently that asked why were there Black colleges. I replied that Black colleges were founded at first because Blacks weren't allowed to go to public colleges, but today even though they are predominately Black they are not segregated, anyone is allowed to enroll. His reply was that he was going to open up a White only college. Why even ask the question if you don't want to know the answer? He chose the a person who agreed with him as the best answer. Start a blog if you want to vent, but don't ask a question if you don't want an honest answer.

Some people do not have the ability to disagree without conflict. Most intelligent individuals can have a serious debate without charged comments or anger.

It's unfortunate because anger is a sign of ignorance in some cases. Most people refuse to be debated. Others refuse to be wrong.

Honesty hurts. Many people simply want their views validated. Yes, it's stupid, but it's also human nature. Just let it slide off your back and be happy that SOME people appreciate your answers.

No, I see it too. Especially when they ask a racist question and then get mad when you give an angry answer. So stupid.
