Why in the world do people have such a hang up about nudity?

You have a body. You know what your parts look like. You also know what the parts of the opposite gender look like...even if you've never seen them in person. Why is this such a big deal?

The only reason why it's such a big deal is because people MAKE it a big deal. I personally think that this line of thought is damaging to our society. The human body is beautiful. All of human history is proof of the recognition of that. Look at any great sculpture or painting and you are likely to see nudity. Is THAT immoral? No.

I don't see a problem with nude beaches at all. As was stated before, they are always secluded and it's never a surprise...there are signs everywhere "warning" you that nudity is occurring. If you think that seeing another human naked is going to somehow damage your sanity, you can choose to avoid such places.

Nudity and sexuality are NOT the same thing.

As for my boss(es). I could care less if they went to a nude beach. My only concern is whether or not they do their job the way they are supposed to.

And what consequences are you referring to? Skin cancer? I assure you, you will not roast in eternal flames if you are seen naked by someone else.

As for the government, I think they have legislated morality enough. More than enough.

I think nude beaches or nude in public area such as campground, lakes etc should be accepted if one is still in public but in a spot where they give effort to be secluded example being if there is a boat dock at a lake where most people do swim at and you walk about 200 yards away from it to swim nude I think there is nothing wrong with that even if people can see you your not exactly doing it in front of them.

Not immoral, not disturbing. You're free to avert your eyes.

I see no problem with it, or any consequences. The government should allow them.

I would not care if my boss went to a nude beach. I don't have a problem with nudity.

I would personally be uncomfortable tanning in the nude, but that is more of a concern about sand and rocks scraping me than modesty.

I can't believe some of these answers where do these people come from. Okay 15 is a bit young but I have sunbaked nude all my life starting around 17 & I am now 58. I know the risks same as drinking & smoking. But doubt a bit of sunbaking at 15 will kill her & when she is a little older she will understand more.

It's certainly not immoral, and since it's in a place where nudity is allowed it shouldn't be disturbing to anyone.

Actually, the nude beach (and similar places where nudity is appropriate) is absolutely awesome!

Nude sunbathing is perfectly OK in designated areas. My boss would get thrown into the water cause he would immediately be mistaken for a beached whale!

Having been born naked some long years ago I HOPE it is not immoral. I think they are still doing it that way. Disturbing?? i can think of numerous people the sight of whom, naked, would be disturbing for one reason or another. I would hate to see the feds get into regulating nudity. Just look at what they've done to the tax code

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. I've done it myself. Nude beaches are never in a 'public' place - they're typically pretty secluded. So I don't know what these consequences are that you're referring to. If my boss went to one, that would be his business.

I think if someone is against nude beaches, they shouldn't go to them. So what if someone wants to sunbathe in the buff! It's not like it's being thrust in some objectors face is it?
