Of course, my partner has an attitude problem and takes it out on whoever is closest, but he won't dare go near the animals anymore or me for that matter as I threatened to report him to the RSPCA and or police, so no more problem, and being 44 and having no kids my dogs are my babies, my brother always says for goodness sakes they are only dogs, but he has kids, so doesn't understand the unconditional love and understanding that our pets give us so you go girl - Goodluck!!!

The Love of my life is a little black dog
and her name is Minnit
When I die and go to heaven
I know that she'll be innit
I love my doggie
Yes I do
I love my doggie
And she loves me too
She's the coolest puppy
She's the ****!
She's the coolest puppy no doubt about it
She's so warm and good and cute and nice
there's nuttin else like'r
Much better n that jerk I married
who called himself a biker
She's the coolest doggie
She's the ****!
She's the coolest dogggie
No doubt about it
She likes her belly rubbed
yes she do
she likes her belly rubbed and I do too
She's the coolest puppy
she's the ****!
She's the coolest puppy no doubt about it
Well I'm pretty tough
but so is she
And she's got way more teeth than me
She's the coolest puppy
She's the ****!
She's the coolest puppy
No doubt about it
my partner in crime
she is my best friend
she's a bad *** *****
my homey till the end :)
My dog Minnit is my whole wide world, I mean, I love my family and friends but there;s nothing like the unconditional love that you get from, and give to your pets. They don't ask for anything but love and food and your last peice of bacon.
So see, This was a music question after all. I do it Blues in E. It's her fav song.

That's exactly how I ended up with a poodle that wasn't the nicest of pets but after what it had been through, it couldn't help it. A neighbor owned the dog and every time I saw her with the dog, she was mistreating (hitting it) and that made me sad. One day I told her if she did that again I was taking the dog and she said "Go ahead." The poodle had a dog best friend at our house, a schnauzer that was also adopted but wasn't too people or other animal friendly. It targeted (bit) one of my other dogs every time it went by. Bit me when I groomed it even with a muzzle on. We had the dog 9 years and even though not my favorite, it was nevertheless a pet that needed someone. In the end it was totally blind, it's best friend died, and the poodle died of heart failure. If this dog had been at a pound, it would have been euthanized but it ended up with a dog companion for 9 years that it mourned for at least 6 months. Even though totally blind, it liked to climb on the outside stairs railing and sit there and it never fell off.

My former partner and I bought a Chow Chow together (we were not married). When we split, I asked him to sign off on her AKC papers...I already had a lawyer lined up to sue for custody, child support, and half-responsibility if she ever bit anyone (he didn't know I carried liability insurance on her for that purpose, even though she's darn mellow for a Chow). At first he thought I was kidding, but when he realized I was not joking, he couldn't sign the papers fast enough. We may have bought her together, but she is MY baby girl...even though she is now an old woman--almost 13! :)

Once I had to defend my cat against a dog. And once my husband rescued my cat from a dog. Fortunately my husband pampers our babies as he does me and our human daughter.
The saying is
Love me, Love my pet!

I would defend my dog Shadow with my life... Well, I would certainly intervene even if a lion attacked him. It's our responsibility to our "best friends."
If I saw a group teens threatening him, they would regret it. Not to put an animal above humans, but when I hear about animal cruelty, it boils my blood like no other.

my former husband of many years once was in a rage. instead of putting his coat on to walk it off around the block, he picked up our sweet little cat and went to slam it against the wall with such force he would have killed it. so i tried to stop it (i was successful), and as a result, he pushed or threw me onto the floor, which he had never done before. it was call the cops time, which led to our divorce. the cat was saved.
