It really was an accident. He walked in on her and she had left the door unlocked. She was completely naked. When I asked him what he saw, he said "everything". I am trying to sort-out my feelings about this. I may want to talk to him and have him give me more detail.

The question and most of the answers here make me feel really sad. Our society has developed such phobias about simple nudity that have no basis in fact. Simple nudity does not cause any harm. It takes nothing away from your relationship with your wife for someone to see her body.

Social nudism is the answer to your problem. Take a trip to a nude beach or resort where you can learn in about ten minutes that there is nothing unique about your body. They only come in two models and everyone is made from the same mold. Only the accessories differ.

Spend some nude time together, learning that nudity doesn't have to automatically be linked with sex or shame and you'll find your whole outlook on life is much brighter.

More detail about what??? You said it was an accident. He said it was an accident. She said it was an accident. Do you want to hear him say how good looking she is or do you not know what she looks like naked?

Let it go. You are all grown ups and she is married to you. Be happy and laugh at the small things between friends.

Which room did it happen in? Was it a room a visitor might reasonably expect to use? Like the Bathroom? Did your wife know your friend was there, or did he get there after she was busy?
If it truly was an accident what the heck do you expect either of them to do? They probably feel embarrassed enough, with out having you harp on it over and over again. And asking him what he saw is disrespecting your wife.
However, is the real problem that your not sure it was an accident? Instead of talking to him, talk to her - she's your wife. And as to your feelings, well, guess what - it didn't happen to you!

If it truly was an accident then there's no problem here, other than your wife and your friend being embarassed. The only circumstance of this that would give you reason to "sort out your feelings about this" would be if he somehow planned it or if it was intentional. But if his face looked shocked and embarassed when he talked about it with you, then it was just an accident and you shouldn't be worried.

It was an accident, nothing is wrong with that. It's just like when you walk-in on someone in the bathroom. Your a little embarrassed around them for a while and eventually you forget all about it. They are your wife and best friend for reasons, you can obviously trust them.

If you realy believe it was an accident, then just leave it alone. Chances are both your friend and your wife are feeling embarassed and humiliated. Bringing it up will only bring those feelings back into the forefront, and it won't undo what happened. In the years to come, it may be something you all laugh about, so long as you're not torturing yourself and them over it.

Why do you need more detail on what he saw, you dont know what your wife looks like naked? It was an accident, no big deal, why make it out to be more than it was, dont worry about it.

My brother's girlfriend walked in on me when I was naked. We don't talk about it. Keeps things less weird that way. I suggest you do the same. It was an accident, and as long as nothing else happened (and it sounds that way), leave it alone.

You can let both of them know that the situation has made you uncomfortable, but other than that I'd leave it alone. What good will it do? unless you find it exciting having another man discribe your wife naked (and it doesn't sound like that's the situation). They probably feel just as uncomfortable.
