when you peel and slice onion take ONE small piece into your mouth, dont chew it, just keep in your tongue,while you keep on slicing and peeling you will be better.... write me back what you observe....actually that is a no more tears method....

That's the exact reason why I HATE to peel those suckers. I cry all the time, but I'm not ashamed of it. It hurts more then anything. mo.

No, I just put a fan on & it helps. Anyways I don't care if people see me crying over onions. I would rub it in their eyes if they made fun of me. ha ha ha!!

Nah! Washing them in cold water helps prevent the crocodile tears.

yea but i dont handle onions unless someon is teaching me how to cut them...and my sister (who is the one usually teaching me how to cook) always makes me come back after im done sobbing.but there was one time i couldnt take the pain and i collapsed grabbing her leg cursing her out.

No Honey....I wash them under water, it staves off the tears..... REALLY.....just make sure that you have a strainer there....cold water at that.....just more than a trickle will do. you will be fine...unless you love pain attention and want to cry....my answer stands.

totally! Its like I am not tough enough to stand the tears. lOl its like a guy compitition with a jar of tabasco. Don't show it burns! Isn't that silly!
