Does anyone know why Israel didn't exist before 1948?

Kelly reading the answers I see people posting a mythological book as a historical fact, people suggesting since the people were there years ago they have every right to be reinstated there, lets flip that argument to Mexico and California and all hell breaks loose. Truth is because it didn't exist, a collective number of people living at a place do not constitute a state and the state of Israel was forcefully established in 1948.

There was a preiod that jews fled the area to save there life and Israel was at one point pretty much destroyed. In 1948 the Jews got there land back returned to the land they started in. You obviously no absolutely nothing about the Old Testament. The Jews were in Israel before there even was an Islam or Christianity. Do you know who king David or king soloman are? If you did then that should answer your question.
