This is a fairly good question as many scientist are trying to understand why it is that we age and die naturally and they seem to think that life expectancy could be greatly multiplied once they have a better understanding of the ageing process.

From what we know right now, there are two major ageing factors: oxidation and genetic loss.

Both of these factors are interdependent as oxidation can lead to genetic loss in cell reproduction and cells that don't reproduce their genes properly may be more fragile, thus possibly easier to oxidate.

So the best way you can proceed to live longer is to have good living habits and study medicine to help in the research.
